No, it is an additional cost that must be budgeted for, except for the Winter packages (Rocky Rager, Okanagen Powder, Big Kahuna and the Snowplow) which are all-inclusive packages.
Can I do my own cooking?
Sure! Most youth hostels we stop at have cooking facilities and we do grocery stops along the way. Often we organize group meals for those interested-it makes cooking fun, easy and cheap!
What happens if I don't want to participate in an activity?
No problem! You don't have to, as all activities are optional. We also guarantee there will always be more than one option and always one free option.
What are the buses like?
All vehicles are comfortable min-coaches with a seating capacity of 15-24 passengers. All buses are outfitted with the necessary equipment to ensure safe and fun atmosphere.
Why is part of the network covered by train?
All VIA Rail train links give passengers on our network the opportunity of reaching many interesting areas of Canada which our buses are unable to get to. The train is also relatively inexpensive, flexible and comfortable. All train links bought through Moose Travel Network are the lowest possible fares offered by VIA (whether they are student or not), entitle passengers to economy seating and allow for the ability to hop-on, hop-off at any stopover along the route.
If I "jump-off" the bus at some point, when can I get back on the bus?
We guarantee a minimum of 3 times per week (as often as daily in peak season) from each place.
